What is GioStrives

I have started seriously thinking about the project GioStrives in August 2025. I began by planning out multiple YouTube videos and attempting to record them.
That didn't work: making a video isn't as easy as just writing a script. When I read it I immediately realised that there's a difference between writing and delivering a text using my voice, and this gap is even larger if I'm aiming at convincing delivery. And what about the sound? The echo? The camera? The scotch tape used to hold my microphone which was supposed to be invisible?
That's when I dropped both videos and started again, focusing on one video at a time and short form video. It was a ton of work which made me realise how much work lies behind the videos from the creators I love...but after a couple of weeks I stopped.
I still wasn't organised enough and then...I wasn't doing what I created this channel for. It is called Gio "strives" because I want to show me striving. The idea is to use the project as a gentle push forcing me to actually study, learn and show how I do it. But I never dared to. Why?
I guess we could boil down the answer to two reasons: my fixed mindset and my public. I am trying to change my mindset, at least at times, to a growth ones. But filming my struggles to create video content out of them feels daunting. When it comes to my public: I am just beginning, so I should really remember that I am doing this mostly for me.

So here it is: writing takes much less effort than producing videos, so I guess blogging is probably the first way in which I will start and push myself into regularly updating this project.
Thank you for reading!
